🎣 Johnny Creek Baits Fishing Report – The Streak Continues!

We’re officially on the longest stretch of solid fishing we’ve had in a long time—back to back to back to back reports of fish putting on a show. Will it end? Maybe. But not this week.

McClure is still producing strong numbers and quality bass. Our Purple Haze continues to be a go-to color, drawing consistent strikes and putting fish in the boat day after day.

Don Pedro hasn’t skipped a beat either. From early morning topwater blowups to dragging our Johnny Creek Hawgs, the fish are biting—and biting hard.

And then there's New Melones… three straight weeks of landing 5-pounders on deck. This week’s kicker? A 5.2 lb chunk as the first fish of the trip, caught on a green pumpkin Neko-style Johnny Creek bait. From there it was steady action, with solid 2-pounders coming in all day. Across two trips, we put over 120 fish in the boat—no joke.

From the southern coves to the upper channels, bass are CHOKING Johnny Creek Baits. The Purple Haze Neko rig on the back of a G Money jig was 🔥 this week. While the wind laid down and slowed the spook bite a bit, the glide bait bite didn’t miss a beat.

⚠️ Heads up: Water levels are dropping. That means submerged islands and hidden hazards—stay aware and be smart when navigating.
🏞️ The marina’s in full swing, the weather’s perfect, and the bite is 🔥.

Need more baits? We got you. The Johnny Creek Baits website is now live and we’re working hard to land on shelves at your favorite local shops.
